Even though it’s Mother’s Day and should be all about ME….it’s not and we all know that…it’s all about RUNE!! So, I got him his very first Aveda experience and he had is first haircut with Sabra. She’s the best…so only the best for Rune. He didn’t get to have a cup of Aveda tea or the aromatherapy scalp treatment…but he received a great haircut! He only slightly cried and was a true wiggleworm, but it turned out good…he was starting to get a mullet. Happy Mother’s Day everyone!!!
Rune and I met up with Carrie and Caden at the Wheeler Family Farm. It’s a free farm in the city with lots of farm animals, a small creek and trails! As we got out of the car, Rune saw horses, stopped in tracks, looked at me and reached out his hand to show me he was ready to go!!!! He loved seeing all the animals and was most excited about the cows…especially the calf that moo’ed a lot…..it was so cute to see him tell all the animals “hi” and give them a wave. He barely enjoyed his time with Caden because he was so excited about the animals…..I saw a little Lisa in him on this day!!! We can’t wait to go back!!!

Following a long day being a menace at the Taylor’s BBQ, Rune passed out cold on the way home. Fully slouched donezo.
Took a family ride on the bikes to Liberty Park last Saturday. Rune walked up to a little girl in a stroller, touched her lips and walked away.

Day 3 skiing. We went for the record (more than two runs) but he wasn’t feeling it. I think it was the goggles. He cried and I have mixed feelings over it. Apparently he slept right away when he got in the car do maybe he was just tired? Does he not like to ski?
First baseball game. We made it till the top of the fifth. Rune hugged another boy. Good times.
